The activities and competitions are main factors to develop the language skills. Because of that, The English Department in Musandam Region organised a series of competitions for most English skills in Dibba section (schools of Dibba, Madha and Leema). The competitions were held on 30/3/2014 and 31/3/2014 in the training centre in Dibba.
The competitions of the first day were for grades 5-9 and the main focus was on grammar and vocabulary. The students were very brilliant and were very interested in the competitions. Students enjoyed the various activities and competitions.

The competitions of the second day were for grades 10-12 and the main focus was on speaking and writing. There were six groups for the speaking activity and other six groups for the writing competition.
For the speaking competition, Students were asked to give a talk about one general topic. There were two doctors from Dibba hospital as judges. The talks were very interesting and students showed their deep understanding for the topics.
For the writing competition, all groups were asked to write a story describing one picture. The organizers hanged the works on the walls and the judges enjoyed walking and registering their evaluation.
