As part of the follow up plan forJolly Phonics implementation in cycle 1 schools, Al-Marifah school welcomed theEnglish Language supervisor, Mrs. Abeer Al-Weshahi and trainer, Mrs. RayaAl-Risi on Tuesday, 25th of November 2014.
Thefollow up visit was aimed for supporting grade 1 teachers with the Jolly Phonics teaching. Therefore, thevisitors attended three lessons continuously to take notes on the steps of eachlesson and on the strategies and tasks used by the teachers. After lessonobservations, a meeting was held to discuss the lessons in general and to giveconstructive feedback to the teachers observed in order to develop thestrategies and tasks they used. Some grade two teachers were also invited tothe discussion as they also implement jolly phonics and their comments werehighly valued. The discussion focused onthe steps of revising previously learned sounds and doing some blending andsegmenting tasks, and steps of introducing the new sound with more blending andsegmenting tasks including the new sound. It also focused on time management,managing students' seating or positions and appropriateness of the tasks to the levelof learners in each classroom. Besides, the types of tasks introduced byteachers were discussed.
All in all, the follow up committee was pleased to seethe teachers follow the steps of teaching Jolly Phonics very well. Teacherswere also creative in the tasks they used for revision. Mrs. Raya Al-Risi wasspecifically delighted to see all the teachers use the smart board creativelyand skillfully and she complemented them for activating it often in theirlanguage classrooms and wished them all the best in their future teaching.
كجزء من متابعة خطة تنفيذبرنامج الجولي" اصوات الحروف ' في المدارس رحبت مدرسة المعرفة للتعليم الاساسي للحقلةالاولى بمشرفات 'اللغة الإنجليزية'، الاستاذة عبير الوشاحي والمدربة الاستاذة ريا الريسي يوم الثلاثاء، 25 /نوفمبر2014. وكان الهدف من الزيارة متابعة و دعم لمدرسات الصف الأول مع تدريس برنامج الجولي اصوات الحروف'. وقد حضر الزوار ثلاثة دروس بشكلمتواصل مع تدوين الملاحظات على الخطوات لكل درس وعلى الاستراتيجيات المستخدمة منقبل المعلمات. ،وبعد انتهاء الحصص تم عقد اجتماع لمناقشة الدروس المستفادة بصورةعامة، مع اعطاء تغذية راجحة بناءة للمعلمات الهدف منها تطوير الاستراتيجيات والاساليبالتي تستخدم في التدريس. كما حضر الاجتماع معلمات الصف الثاني ايضا للمناقشة كونهميطبقون برنامج الجولي فونكس وتعليقاتهم كانت ذات قيمة عالية. ركزت المناقشات علىخطوات تدريس الصوت كذالك دار عن عرض بعض الافكار والخطوات لمراجعة الاصوات التيسبق دراستها كما تضمن الحوار عرض مجموعة من الافكار عن تركيب وتحليل الكلمه من خلال دراسة أصواتالحروف.
كما دار النقاش حول تنظيم وقتالحصة كذالك تم عرض موضوع ضبط الطلاب وكيفية توزيعهم وتقسيمهم الى مجموعات اعتماداعلى نوع النشاط المقدم مع الاخذ بعين الاعتبار المستويات المختلفة للطلاب.
فيختام الموضوع اثنت لجنة الاشراف والمتابعة ع جهود المعلمات في تدريس الأصواتبطريقة نموذجيه .كما ابدت الاستاذة راية الرئيسي جزيل الشكر والامتنان ع جهودالمعلمات في تفعيل السبورة التفاعليه في تدريس اللغة الانجليزية بالاضافة الى الطرحالمميز والمبدع في تدريس الاصوات متمنية لهم مزيد من العطاء في المستقبل..
