Good-quality training and reflective professional development are essential parts of a teacher’s professional life. Department of humanities head by Hamad Alsharjy and English department head by Mr Ali Azzam and other English supervisors Mr. Ismail Ghoniem and Mr. Mohammed Saif at Alwusta governorate offer a number of routes for teachers according to their experience and needs, ranging from subject-specific training to professional development qualifications.one of these courses held today at Hiama training center by Dr. Richard Harrison and Dr. spencerSales about motivated teaching and learning in classrooms ,the course started by a questioner about How good a motivated am I? and the course also include the following points , vocabulary teaching and adolescent classroom , free writing ,why is writing a neglected skill , how effective are the writing material we use and ways to improves student’s writing .Mohammed Hilal Assistant Director for Financial Affairs at ALwusta governorate offered a certificate of appreciation for DR. Harrison and Dr spencer at the end of the workshop and thanked them for their great efforts .the aim of such courses is to supports teachers to become confident, responsible, reflective and innovative.
