Education … Honors Students of German and French Languages

: Under the auspices of HE Dr. Hamoud Al Harthi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for teaching and curriculum, MoE honored general diploma students of German and French Languages last Thursday in the Ministry auditorium in Al Wattayyah.
The honoring ceremony was attended by HE Hanz Christian Vonerbibenz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Sultanate, and HE Rolan Dobbetran, Ambassador of France to the Sultanate, and Dr. Hamad Al Busaidi, Director-General of the Directorate General of Curriculum Development, and a number of Director-Generals of Educational provinces applying the teaching of French and German Languages, directors of departments at the Ministry, members of the project, and parents of the honored students The ceremony began with visual presentation of stages of applying the teaching of German and French experience, the challenges encountered during the application. After that, the honored students gave a theatrical tackled the importance of learning languages in human life.
In end of the ceremony, the patronage of the event honored the successful students and distributed the certificates to them. Students of the current academic year (2015/2016) were honored with the certificate (Fit in Deutsch) in the German language and in the French language the certificate (DELF). HE also honored the teachers of the two subjects.
The Ministry's interest in the teaching of foreign languages comes from the principles of the philosophy of education in the Sultanate, and aims to build Oman's human capabilities in the light of the reality of contemporary life; to be able to interact positively with the current developments and those of the future.
