Al Dhahera English Competitions
2014/2015




English Language Department has organized two
competitions for this semester:


1.Spelling Bee Competition: For all students
under each cycle. A students from each cycle.




2. Debating competition: For post Basic students only.
There are three stages for these competitions:

Stage 1:school level ( competitions within each school )

Stage 2 : Interschool level (Bloc level )

Stage 3 : Final at Al Dhehra Hall
These competitions are targeting to improve
spelling and debating skills so that:
-Knowledge in spelling words correctly would
help students in their writing

and reading skills.
-Debating can help to improve students'
critical thinking skill and use
Of spoken language as these skills are
essential to do better
in higher studies.
