The English Club in Salalah School for Boys (11-12) has launched its activities for the academic year 2014-2015. The English Club members have planned to take a number of activities (some of them started as early as the beginning of October 2014) including the Inter-Class English Quiz Competition, The weekly English Broadcast, the Public Speaking Competition, the Chart and Poster making Competition. All these activities and quite many others such as poem recitation and English songs will be crowned during the English Open Day, which is planned to take place towards the end of April, 2015,under the supervision and sponsorship of the headmaster,Mr.Khaled Hassan.We have set certain goals for our English Club and are sparing no efforts that each activity should help our students improve their English said Mr. Tahir Hammami in an exclusive interview.The English Club objectives are:-Developing inter-personal relationships among students-Improving the English language proficiency-Creating an English atmosphere outside the classroom -Helping students improve their general knowledge -Helping students develop their speaking abilities.The whole teams intend to celebrate an English Open Day,where the finals for the Wining Class Teams will be held. The English Open Day will also be a celebration of all students with good class and activities achievement. Today Tuesday,March 2-nd,2015 grade 12-9 was the winner and got 60 points.
